A4 receipt how to OCR it for modification

Dear experts

I have a purchase receipt that is A4 size (printed via computer to laser printer)

Can I scan that receipt and converted to OCR via my brother printer without losing the layout of the receipt ? How ?

So far I tried to use PaperPort program but it seems to me I don't know to use the program to convert that receipt into editable version file (word) as I want to modify date
