My own education has focused on psychology and biochemistry, which has culminated in my current position in a neuropsychology lab. My research focus is the cognitive ability of athletes, especially in the application of mental and physical pain management. I find my research beneficial to my own understanding of training and physical abilities, and I enjoy sharing this information with other athletes through my writing.
When I'm not in the pool or on the trail, I love having exciting adventures with my children and playing board games.
