Pakistani pacer Mohammad Aamer is fit to take part in the third and final Test against Australia in Hobart starting on Jan 14.Aamer had sustained a minor groin injury during the opening Test in Melbourne. He had played a vital role to bring back Pakistan into the game with a sensational five-wicket haul in the second innings. However the groin injury had forced him to withdraw from the ongoing second test in Sydney.

Team officials are confident that Aamer will recover fully before the final Test. Pakistan manager Abdul Raqeeb informed that Aamer has received some treatment and is responding well.

Raqeeb said,"He had some icing and will be resting for a few days. He was rested (for the Sydney Test) on the advice of the doctors because he was really stiff but hopefully he will be fully fit for Hobart."

Mohammad Sami, who replaced Aamer in the playing eleven, bowled a brilliant spell with the new ball to rock the Australian top order on Sunday.

Sami is also likely to be retained in the squad for the Hobart Test .If Aamer gets fit he would most likely replace Umar Gul, who has not been in impressive form in recent times.
