Default Mancini: all players want to join Man City

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says persuading players to join the Premier League club in the January transfer window will be easy.

The Italian said Monday that "all players now want to go to Manchester City. It's normal because City is a big club and will have a big future."

Mancini's predecessor, Mark Hughes, spent more than US$300 million in the year following Sheikh Mansour's takeover. Hughes was fired in December.

Hughes and the City hierarchy failed to convince Brazil playmaker Kaka to join the club last January, with a deal collapsing at the last minute.

Mancini told reporters ahead of the first leg of the Carling Cup semifinals against Manchester United on Wednesday that he isn't ready to reveal any transfer targets.
