Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who is recuperating from the critical head injury, mentioned that he will be making his comeback in racing with the Brazil kart racing event slated to take place in November.

Massa had sustained a fracture on his skull in July after fellow Brazilian Rubens Barrichello's Brawn GP car has hit him just on the upper side of his left eye at the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying event.

"I'm going to take part again in the challenge of the stars, which is one of the most trendy end of year events," Massa said in a video made by the organisers.

"It's an incredible party, they get the best drivers together in all categories in the world: Formula 1, Formula Indy, stock car (Brazilian championship)," added Massa. He is also among the organizers of the very popular annual kart race, which will be taking place in Florianopolis in southern Brazil from Nov. 27 to Nov 29.

Massa, 28, is eligible to make a comeback to Formula One only next year as he is recuperating his plastic surgery.

Ferrari had replaced Massa with the Italian Giancarlo Fisichella this month for the final five races of this season.

Massa said World Champion Michael Schumacher and Barrichello, who is in second place in the Formula One drivers' standings, will be participants at the Brazil event.
