    When producer Rakesh Roshan and director Anurag Basu first met Barbara Mori for ' Kites' story narration in Los Angeles, the actress just had inch long hair as she had gone completely bald for her role in a Spanish film. For her role, the Mexican beauty had shaved her head.

    Diandra Soares has been in the industry for about 15 years but two times she received maximum attention was when she shaved her head. The first time she took the plunge was 10 years ago and this time the model made headlines in the year 2010 as she walked the ramp at this year's Lakme Fashion Week sporting a bald head.

    Aamir Khan turned bald for his film, 'Ghajini' and his bald look in the movie became a rage amongst youngsters and his look was the talk of the town in good sense for sure.

    Salman Khan shaved-off his head for the blockbuster movie 'Tere Naam'. Salman's character in the film too lost his memory after being hit hard on the head in Satish Kaushik's 2003 drama. He became a patient and to do justice for his very violent role, Sallu Bhai chopped off his hair.

    After her split with Kevin Federline, pop sensation Britney Spears shaved off her head. According to reports, it was the stress of having two children and a troubled marriage, which pushed her over the edge.

    Shabana Azmi too went bald for Deepa Mehta's movie 'Water'. But she too was not a part of the film. The actress had no inhibitions shedding off her hair and she was the one who flaunted it with elan.
    Seema Biswas went for a very short cropped hair for Deepa Mehta's 'Water'. To give company to her bald look in the movie was another actress, Lisa Ray who chopped off her hair for her role in the movie.

    Along with Shaban Azmi, Nandita Das also shaved-off her head for 'Water', but the actress too didn't appear in the film.
